Viscosupplementation with hyaluronic acid is now a therapeutic option that can be offered to patient suffering from pain due to osteoarthritis of the joints, especially if NSAIDs and other analgesics have proven ineffective and in subjects who refuse or are not eligible for surgery.

Laboratoires VIVACY has developed a special range of hyaluronic acid based visco-supplements, KARTILAGE® and KARTILAGE® CROSS, with the benefits of a natural antioxidant mannitol to restore, improve and maintain joint function for a better quality of life and overall well-being.

KARTILAGE® CROSS is a single intra-articular injection treatment that uses the patented IPN-Like Technology of hyaluronic acid cross-linking with the benefits of the antioxidant mannitol. It has been specifically designed by Laboratoires VIVACY to relieve the pain of osteoarthritis in joints (e.g. knee, hip, etc.), notably after failure or intolerance of pain killers (AINS, AIS). KARTILAGE® CROSS works by restoring the lubricating and shock-absorbing properties of joint fluid, which are depleted in osteoarthritis.
